As seen in the second film 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets', this car belongs to Ron Weasley's dad and has magical powers and flies Harry and his friend Ron to Hogwarts school when they miss the train, crashlanding into the Whomping Willow tree. It also comes to their rescue when giant spiders attack them in the Forbidden Forest.
THE CAR
This is the actual vehicle that was featured in the Sun Newspaper competition 'Win the Real Harry Potter Car'. It was purchased from the winner of the competition by the museum in December 2002.
TRIVIA
In nearly 30 years, Ford UK made over one and a half million Anglias in different versions from 1939 and 1967. Other famous Anglia owners included Vyvyan from the Young Ones who had a yellow one with flame paintwork and a pink one belonged to Roland Rat!
